Howard R Dabney

Howard R. Dabney Has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree, Industrial Management from Virginia State University, Petersburg, VA and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) Degree, Bank Management and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. He retired as a senior bank executive after thirty-eight years, serving as President/CEO of Allied Federal Savings Bank and then Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer of Carver Federal Savings Bank. He has served as an Adjunct Professor and guest lecturer at several local colleges for business management and finance. In addition, served as a panelist and facilitator of numerous workshops and symposiums on business financing. He currently exercises his skills and expertise in the areas of commercial real estate and finance through his own consulting company, Prima Capital Group, LLC. He is a fifty-plus resident of the BedfordStuyvesant community, has been a member of Saint Philip’s Episcopal Church-Brooklyn, NY since 1982, and served on the Vestry for a number of years. Currently, he is a member of the Church’s finance committee, capital campaign committee and headed up the task force for the church’s strategic planning efforts. Finally, he has served and is currently serving as the President of the Virginia State University Alumni Association the Greater New York Chapter. In his leisure time, he plays golf, attends sporting events, spends time with his family, and travels.
